Western Libraries Undergraduate Research Awards (WLURAs)

Submission

Instructions

Students can submit multiple applications each year for different research projects, including group projects. For each submission, students are required to complete a separate online application form that includes the following information:

  • Responses to four brief research questions outlined in the application tips.
  • Copy of or link to the research project.
  • Copy of the course syllabus (if applicable).
  • Copy of the assignment details (if not available in the syllabus).
  • Copy of the bibliography (if not included in the research project itself).
  • You retain the copyright to your work. When you upload your submission to the Scholarship@Western repository, you grant the University of Western Ontario the right to preserve and provide access to your digital document. You must ensure that this is your own work and provide proper attribution to your sources (citations, image credits, etc.).

    Formats

    PDF files are the preferred file type for all textual documents; MP4 files are the preferred file type for all videos; and TIFF files are the preferred file type for images. If in doubt, just ask the WLURA Adjudication Committee

    Privacy

    Application materials are stored on the WLURA site in Scholarship@Western, which will be deleted one year after the award cycle closes.
