Description
The research being examined looks at how technology and aging interact, specifically how digital media affects older adults' social support networks. The study uses a Life Course Approach to investigate how societal and individual factors impact aging, with technology becoming more and more integrated into daily life. According to our findings, older adults can maintain and create social connections online and through social media platforms, which helps them feel less alone even though their physical social networks are getting smaller as a result of age-related limitations. In order to improve older adults' emotional health and social engagement, the research supports policy interventions that give digital literacy and technological accessibility top priority.
