Description

My research project aims to examine the expression landscape of the immune checkpoint protein, PD-L1, in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and pancreatitis using automated image analysis tools such as QuPath. Immunohistochemical analysis and confocal microscopy are utilized to identify unique expression patterns, including membrane staining and necrotic areas, compared to those identified in the PD-L1 IHC 22C3 pharmDx Interpretation Manual. The ongoing project aims to use an automated histological analysis tool to score immune checkpoint protein profiles in cancerous tissues and identify regions of tumour cells.
