Description

Second of 3 consecutive tornadoes to touch down in southern Ontario and the first of 2 F2s. A 28ft motor home was carried 50ft. Barns and other buildings were destroyed. 3 or 4 persons called in a tornado to police. Tornado narrowly missed 2 youth camps on Lake Conestogo which were operating at the time. Some witnesses described being on the edge of death while in buildings directly hit by a tornado. Many instances of near misses. Tornado exhibited most violence near end of life.
