Description

Probable tornado struck the Proton Township in the early afternoon of the 22nd ripping a narrow 10km path through farms and swamps in the area. Was the first of 2 tornadoes produced from a likely strong and organized supercell tracking SE through Grey and Dufferin counties and noted by some as the worst ever seen. It was noted in newspapers as a “cyclone” and a “hurricane”. Aerial photos show either very high-end F1, or F2 damage.
