Abstract

This special meeting of the New York State/Ontario Chapter of the Music Library Association was held in honour of James B. Coover and Carol June Bradley. Coover and Bradley arrived at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1970, and transformed a departmental music library into a comprehensive world class collection. Speakers included: Don Krummel, "Defining Music Libraries" ; Lenore Coral "On Music in Auction Catalogues" ; Jane Edmister Penner "Oral History and MLA" ; "What is Hip?" by Richard McRae. Christopher Coover, Christie's Auctions, New York was the keynote speaker.
