Abstract
This presentation provides a quick introduction to the topic and results of a survey of archives conducted in 2015, a case study of use of the mapping tool in Historypin as a means of improving community awareness a local newspaper photograph collection, and a brief look at the potential of one example of a map layer on top of an online archival catalogue at another Canadian university.
