Description

The Northern Tornadoes Project is a collaboration between Western University, ImpactWX, and several other parties that aims to improve the detection, prediction, and mitigation of tornadoes across Canada. Many of the captured tornadoes are documented via interactive online maps in ArcGIS Online. These maps combine data captured from various sources, including Survey123 on the ground and drones in the air.
