Abstract
This assessment includes an introduction to Rwandan history and health concerns, probiotic yogurt impacts on these health effects, and three assessments. In the three compiled reports, the situation in Kigali, Rwanda will be assessed in order to ensure that a sustainable FITI yogurt project with the guidance of Western Heads East can succeed. The report will identify key partners and infrastructure needed, milk availability in order to establish the means to produce the yogurt and finally it will assess the business and marketing tactics necessary for a sustainable operation. It will identify the steering committee needed to lead the women, it will explore the acceptability of the project, and will assess the positive impact that the project will have on environmental and public health within the country of Rwanda.
