The COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns have forced us all to confront the need to reconceive—and change—how we as historians of early modern philosophy collaborate, interact, share ideas and research, and transfer knowledge. Yet, even though the proximate cause for this was the 2020 pandemic, we acknowledge that equally important factors for changing are the unsustainability of the traditional model for academic knowledge exchange and the unfolding crisis of our collapsing climate. This space is our open-access repository for organizing and archiving the public, online events that the Western Ontario Early Modern Philosophy Research Group has conducted. We welcome you to join us for our current and future events as well as explore our past events. We welcome feedback on our events, both on the philosophical themes and content as well as on their formats. Comments may be sent to Dr. Benjamin Hill at We look forward to seeing you at our events and to hearing back from you.
