Description
This paper explores the evolving landscape of the green economy in Canada, with a spotlight on Ontario's unique challenges and opportunities. By integrating concepts from Geographic Political Economy (GPE) and Evolutionary Economic Geography (EEG), we unravel how institutions influence the behaviors and decisions of economic actors within this dynamic context. After detailing our innovative methodological approach, we present compelling results that reveal critical insights into the interplay between policy and practice. A thoughtful discussion follows, emphasizing the broader implications of our findings for sustainable development. Ultimately, we conclude with actionable recommendations aimed at shaping effective policies that promote a resilient and thriving green economy.
