Description
This research project looks to document the evolution of art in digital spaces following the impact of the pandemic on performative practices in art. This was achieved by working with professor Christof Migone in the effort to learn more about and document how performance art has evolved in the atmosphere of digital presentation. Below is a short description of the work of artist Christof Migone documented in this research project:
"A 12-year annual, live-streamed event hosted by visual artist Christof Migone, You And I Are Water Earth Fire Air Of Life And Death, began in 2020 after artist Migone partook in a Glenfiddich Distillery residency. The project invites artists every year to present sound and performance art over the course of an hour long timeslot. Viewers are encouraged to speak about the art as it progresses live with the provided live chat. Only 3 years into the project, Christof Migone has brought together over 50 artists from more than a dozen countries and five continents."
