The Seventh Annual Research Data Centre Conference, Health over the Life Course, took place on 15-16 October, 2009 in London, Ontario, Canada. The Conference was organized by the Research Data Centre and the Aging and Health Research Centre at The University of Western Ontario, and the Population Change and Lifecourse Strategic Knowledge Cluster.

Health over the life course covered two types of research:
  1. Life course analyses of factors affecting health: Studies that follow trajectories, exploring the influence of earlier behaviour, and of social, community, or policy context on subsequent health issues in the lives of individuals
  2. Analyses of health issues at given developmental stages: Studies that focus on children's developmental issues, or health questions specific to adolescents, middle aged, old and oldest old
