Dr. Nadine Wathen is a Professor and Chair in the Health Information Science (HIS) Program in the Faculty of Information & Media Studies (FIMS). She is a Research Scholar at the Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children in Western's Faculty of Education, and was named “Canada Research Chair (Tier I) in Mobilizing Knowledge on Gender-Based Violence” In 2019. She answers the question of "what are some of the impacts of stay-at-home orders on women's experiences of safety in Canada and beyond?"
