Description
Noted as “Vortex #1” in EC report. Main damage occurred just after touchdown about 2.5km NW of Toronto Airport at Kruger Paper Co. and blew a 10x10m hole in the roof, destroying product and other objects inside. Another commercial building nearby had the corner of its roof torn off and the area was littered with debris and projectiles from the tornado, some of which was wrapped so tightly around objects that they were conformed to that shape.
