Description

A blowdown of approximately 4.5mi by 2mi was found by air (MNR Forestry) observation between Jones Lake and Bernadine Lake. There were clear signs of twisting in the broken trees. Noted that most of the trees were “mature” and that about 70,000 cords of lumber were blown down. Newspaper clipping in EC file.
