Description
Airport operator at Markham Airport saw the tornado as a funnel cloud formation coming from the west. He had enough time to anchor 20 planes before it struck, destroying one hangar and damaging three planes. No other damage reported or documented in EC file, but the tornado could have been on the ground prior to or after hitting the airfield.
