Description

Tornado touched down just northwest of Milton and tracked for approximately 12km plowing directly through the small town of Hornby. A witness noted that “It sounded like Niagara Falls”. Three people were in a barn when the walls began to give way. They tried to get outside but the tornado lifted them and threw all three of them 50 feet. One of the two men thrown tried to push his daughter into a culvert after landing in a ditch.
