Part of June 19, 1946, was a severe storm tracked through Rockwood, Halton Hills (Acton), and Georgetown (Norval). The storm may have right-turned near Norval and hit Streetsville (12km SE), and then it aimed Port Credit (another 12km SE) before dissipating over Lake Ontario.
