“Barrie, June 28 (Special). A freak windstorm of severe intensity suddenly swooped down on Barrie and the surrounding country today, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. At the Camp Borden military headquarters, tents were blown down and equipment in the path of the sudden gust thrown more than 200 yards across the parade grounds.”
