Music Research and Composition Department

The Department of Music Research and Composition in Western's Don Wright Faculty of Music approaches music as a form of creative activity and an object of intellectual engagement. Composers in the Department create music for both traditional ensembles and electronic media and scholars reflect on the character, history, and organization of music.
