Abstract
Welcome to The Shelf-Help Section! This website is my final project for LIS 9201 - Classification and Indexing. It features informally written blog posts on the following types of bibliographic relationships:
Descriptive Relationships
Derivative Relationships
Whole-Part/Part-Whole Relationships
Sequential Relationships
Shared Characteristic Relationshps
Here, I attempt to interpret my understanding of the above bibliographic relationship types using Top 40 music videos. The relationships are taken exclusively from Barbara Tillett's work on identifying bibliographic relationships, and the work is inspired by the concepts discussed in LIS 9201, as well as the ground-breaking work of librarians and scholars on the art and discipline of classification and organization.
