Abstract
In less than 20 minutes, this podcast episode discusses the demographic categories of teens/young adults and new adults, the evolution of young adult fiction, adult fiction and young adult library services, as well as explores the potential for a "new adult" service librarian. It is partially a historical analysis on young adult reading, partially a defense for adults who continue to enjoy young adult fiction, and partially speculation on how library services can evolve moving forward.
