Classical Studies at Western is broadly based on the study of the language, literature, history, archaeology and culture of the Greek and Roman world. The study of Classics is, by its nature, interdisciplinary combining the main fields of Greek and Latin archaeology, history and literature with other subjects such as religion, mythology, political theory, philosophy, sports, law, music, sexuality and gender studies.
