South nave wall. The Icon of St. Mark, a Lion. From Mark, 1:3: "The vocie of the one who cries in the wilderness: Prepare Yee the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. Wings are from Ezekiel, 1:10 and connected to his vision of four winged creatures to the evangelists.
