Nave – north wall, window 1 of 3, east to west; To the Glory of God and in/Cherished Memory of the Ven. James Banning Richardson,/ M.A., D.C.L. {1843-1923} Archdeacon/ Of London, and Mary Jane Tremaine/ {1839-1923} His Wife/ “In Death They Were Nott Divided.”/Erected By Their Children. (across both); “And They Straightway Left (l1) Their Nets. And Followed Him.”(l2): Matthew 4:20; Event represents Christ walking by the sea of Galilee. Christ says to them “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him” (Matthew 4:18-19). The image depict Andrew and Peter in the left light, holding their nets, while the right Christ raises his hand to speak (in the pose of an orator).
