Nave – north wall, window 2 of 3, east to west; Inscription: To The Glory of God/And In Memory of/David Hartford Howden And/ Emma Marie Rome, His Wife./ Erected by Their Children (across both windows); “And All That Heard Him Were (l1), Astonished At His Understanding” (L2); Luke 2:48; The corresponds to the second chapter of Luke and offers one of the few stories about the young adolescent Christ (Luke 2: 41-52). At the age of 12 his family travel to Jerusalem for Passover. While there Christ entered the temple and engaged with the doctors of the temple whom Christ astonished with his knowledge.
