Description

The narrative corresponds to Christ’s visit to Capernaum and he was approached by a centurion to help his suffering servant. Christ indicated he would travel to the Centurion’s house. The soldier indicated Christ didn’t have to return to his house as his word was enough to save the man. Christ admires his faith and compares it to those in Israel. The scripture is form Luke 7:9. The piece has muilptle inscriptions: To The Glory of God/ And in Proud Memory/The Members of the 70th Battalion CRP/Who Gave Their Lives in the Great War (across both); and I Have Not Found So (light 1) / Great Faith, No, Not In Israel (light 2)
