Description

The four-panel window depicts the Annunciation to the Shepherds (left lancet), Adoration of the Magi (left center lancet), Madonna and Child (right center lancet) and Joseph (right lancet). Window consists of 600-900 pieces of glass. Blue is a prominent color as related to Mary and the Nativity. There are 30 shades of blue glass imported from England. Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD TO COMMEND UNTO THOSE WHO ENTER THIS HOUSE THE MEMORY OF MAY DEACON SPENCE. THE NATIVTY OF OUR LORD 1883-1950 and Good will unto men (in tracery).
