The WRF 2020 aims to promote knowledge-sharing between graduate students from across the disciplines. This year's WRF will feature five-minute oral presentations, lightening talks, and two interactive poster session. Prizes will be available for both oral and poster presentations. Through a rigorous peer-review process, a handful of proposals have also been selected to deliver extended presentations during the Graduate Student Keynote Session.

This year’s WRF offers four free professional development workshops at 1:00-2:00 and 2:45-3:45. Both attendees and presenters can chose to attend one of four afternoon workshops that explore themes pertaining to grant writing, publishing, teaching, and careers outside of academia. Our workshops are hosted by Research Western, the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Writing Support Centre, and Grad Student Life. When choosing which workshop to attend, be careful to consider your presentation time. The poster sessions and workshops run concurrently. These workshops are limited to 35 participants each and require advanced registration on Eventbrite. Secure your spot today!
