This was a black-history themed painting inspired by traditional paintings and carvings of African market women and I wanted to do a colourful take on that. The colours were inspired by things like true feminine essence, intense vibrancy and so forth. Watching all the colours mesh seamlessly was my favourite part of creating this piece.
