Overview:
Over the following pages are images of the altars and sanctuaries found in many of the churches within the Diocese. The diversity of designs, size, and scale of the altars is astounding, ranging from simple table forms to ornate reredos that depict numerous ecclesiastical subjects and themes. In each case, the altar is the site of the Sacrament of the Eucharistic, a sacrament practices across many religious denominations.
