Abstract
This Information presentation for Western Libraries staff provides basic information about copyright at Western. It outlines recent changes in the Canadian copyright landscape as a result of amendments to the Copyright Act in 2012 and Supreme Court rulings that aid in interpreting the Act. The presentation highlights the resources, services and information available through Western's copyright website. It details the major tools available to the campus community, including the Copyright Decision Map and the Fair Dealing Analysis. Copyright & Western Libraries provides guidance for Western Libraries staff in assisting with copyright queries at Western.
