The Queer Caucus is a group for queer (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirited, questioning and allies) faculty, staff and graduate students. It links people across faculties, schools and departments and is intended to help forge community, facilitate academic alliances, promote scholarship, provide a venue for activism, and encourage discussions and practices of diverse forms of queer pedagogy. It also provides a space for organizing social events. Announcements of queer-relevant talks, lectures and seminars are posted here.

The caucus maintains a mailing list. Anyone who wants to be included in the list should email Susan Knabe or Wendy Pearson.

The Queer Research Day will take place in April 2010:
Date: April 29th
Time: 1:30 - 4:30 pm
Location: UC 224A

It will showcase both queer research and research by queer faculty and graduate students (no matter whether the topic is queer or not). Refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
