Description
Window was commissioned in 1985. He relied upon sheets of stained glass and supports to cover the atrium’s existing gridded skylight. The light defuses into the space through the interaction of the glass tints and the sandblasted safety glass panes protecting the stained glass. The work is a part of the McIntosh Gallery’s collection on Western’s campus. Commission: Faculty of Science and the W.H. Abbott Fund with assistance from the Canada Council, 1986. Location: Atrium, Sky Light, Social Science Building (cast entrance)
