Description
Dedicated in the memory of Ellen J. Stephen (1894-1960) and wife of John Stephen. John 5:1. Singed YVONNE WILLAIMS STUDIO / TORONTO 1961. Depicts Christ healing a cripple man of 38 years. Here Christ heals the man, which is symbolic of the love of God. Williams uses thousands of glass pieces in this window. Contains an image of the Archangel Raphael known to being an agnel of healing. The inclusion of the angel (along with others, corresponds to the churches dedication to All Angels. Williams notes that she designed the window, made its cartoon, and chose it colouring while Michael Nuttgens painted the glass. Location: South Nave Wall, 3rd window (east to west).
