Abstract
Dr. Kevin Shoemaker is currently a Professor at the School of Kinesiology, Faculty of Health Sciences, at the University of Western Ontario. He is the head of the Neurovascular Research Laboratory where his research is focused on understanding neural control of the cardiovascular system. Dr. Shoemaker also teaches a fourth year Kinesiology course, “Physiology of Exercise”. WURJHNS first year representative, Christina Carfagnini, had the pleasant opportunity to interview him to learn more about his research and career.
