Abstract
Dr. Alp Sener is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Microbiology and Immunology at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. A Schulich Clinician Scientist with a unique vision of integrating both basic science and clinical research, Dr. Sener works on prolonging renal graft survival through minimizing post-transplant graft rejection and developing techniques to preserve donor tissue. WURJ members, Himanshu Gupta and Alice Tan, had the opportunity to interview him and investigate his career and research.
