Abstract
Conference report of the Music Library Association meeting, held February 8-11 in Atlanta, Georgia. Plenary sessions: Fair Use, Music, and Technology;The Realities of Music Librarianship outside North America and Western Europe. The World Wide Web was highlighted; "Are You Being Served" highlighted ways of improving reference service to patrons; preservation of cassette tapes and issues in sound preservation were the topic of one session; the new ISMN (International Standard Music Number) is now in place, but American publishers are not keen to adopt it. Cataloguing manuals for both sheet music and videos are in-preparatoin.
