Description
The Grenville Front tectonic zone is exposed south of Conistone ON. The shear zone contains mylonites, diabase, and other rocks and microstructures. In summer of 2021, field work was conducted; the geological map of the Grenville Front tectonic zone was validated and refined. Field data was collected and samples from outcrops were brought back to Western University for further study. Drone videos of the area were recorded for future use.
