About this Publication

The Population Change and Lifecourse Discussion Papers Series aims to showcase empirical research, quantitative and qualitative, done by members associated with the Population Change and Lifecourse Strategic Knowledge Cluster. The members include regular faculty, researchers and graduate students in various universities and research settings, in Canada and abroad. These discussion papers provide an academic forum to discuss topics that include aging and paid work, care giving and social participation, health over the life course, families, immigrants and migrants, and lifelong learning. When appropriate, the papers highlight policy implications arising from the research.
