Detail, Crown of Thorns from The Birth, The Passion, and the Victory of Christ or James Memorial Windows

The Crown of Thorns is a reminder of Christ’s suffering for the Salvation of Man. The color blue is mean to symbolize the Heavenly Love. One of three windows that creates the Symbols of Our Faith that were created in memory of Mrs. E.C. "Frances" James 1882-1960. The windows were dedicated on June 16, 1963.
